Watch what Lagos makes next.

Before the runway photographs arrive, look at the work behind the clothes.

Lagos Fashion Week has announced October 28 to November 1 for its 2026 edition. Its Green Access programme offers another way to understand what the platform is building between runway seasons.

The eighth edition centres emerging African designers working with craft and circular design. Its published framework includes reclaimed textiles, local fibres, repairability and collaboration with artisan communities. The programme connects material research with mentorship, prototypes and business development.

STURDY NOTE: The question is bigger than which look gets reposted. Who made the textile? What knowledge did the designer keep in circulation? Can the garment be repaired? Follow those details when the collections arrive. They tell you more than a crowded front row.
