Elusive keeps the beat tape moving.
Eight tracks. Jazz instrumentation. A producer still finding new routes through his own language.
Elusive released Constellations through Alpha Pup on October 16, 2026. The Los Angeles producer’s eight-track record brings hip-hop production into conversation with jazz instrumentation.
Alpha Pup’s notes point to Rhodes keys, wordless vocal melodies and percussion across “LuvuLuvnMe” and “Komorebi.” The closing track, “4TheLuv,” interpolates Slum Village’s “Fall in Love.” Those are useful coordinates for entering the record, rather than a substitute for hearing it.
STURDY NOTE: A beat tape can be a complete world without becoming a long one. Follow this sequence from “Darkest Secrets” to “4TheLuv” before deciding which track you want to keep.
