Nassir Saleem, known online as @nassiestaxx, is a Philadelphia stand-up comic and digital creator. His comedy starts in familiar places: the way people talk to each other, the little habits nobody announces, the moment a conversation turns strange. He notices it, gives it just enough room and lets the audience meet him there.
There is a difference between having a relatable premise and knowing exactly what to do with it. The recognizable detail gets people in; the timing makes it a joke. Saleem’s understated delivery gives the observation space instead of rushing to explain why it is funny. Atlantic City comedy club AC Jokes describes his style as dry and rooted in moments other people overlook.
Beyond the feed
That voice is also finding room in person. AC Jokes billed him on an April 17, 2026 stand-up show at Resorts Casino in Atlantic City. On September 5, City Winery Philadelphia presented him alongside Ler and Lionel for a live game night built around conversation. They are different kinds of rooms, both asking him to hold people’s attention beyond a short clip.
There is more to hear from him, too. The September 2025 episode of Prescribed. introduced him as Nassie Staxx and, according to its description, covered his path through media, what keeps him going and the pull of social-media validation. He also joined Yup, Another Podcast for Episode 242, where the show credits @nassiestaxx. Those conversations offer a route into the person behind the sketches without pretending a clip tells the whole story.
STURDY’s take
Online comedy often rewards the loudest version of a point. Saleem’s work suggests another way in: stay close to how people actually behave and trust the audience to recognize themselves. The subject might be an everyday exchange, but the perspective is what makes it his.
That is why he belongs here. This is not a claim that one viral moment proves a career. It is a reason to pay attention to a comic developing a distinct voice across sketches, live shows and conversations. The interesting question is what he does with that voice next.
